homecoming

Michigan is a pretty nice place to visit… but I’m pretty sure if I had to spend my life stuck behind people going 5 miles under the speed limit on 1 lane roads I would lose my shit.
Hanging out with Kirk and Julia was a great way to spend the weekend. It combined being in college (minus the course work) with seeing my oldest best friend. We got to drink responsibly, go to a football game (sorry Meghan but we had to rep the home team) and check out the homecoming parade. If you ask me there really isn’t a better way to slip into a fall state of mind. With the temperature hovering in the 30’s or 40’s under a pristine blue sky dotted with fluffy, white clouds and an explosion of reds and yellows from the first changing leaves of the season, it was pretty rad.

  1. We are having a cold wave, too. The temp was 50 this morning -- down from 80 2 days ago. Mom

First, who is the fabulous looking girl on the left. We do not recognize her. Oh...wait! Is that our Alexis? And the handsome guy next to her? Can that be Dave?
    Nah, couldn't be....but wait....it is!!!!!!

As Yoda said to Luke Skywalker as Luke carried him on his back while exercising through the swamps, "you know Luke, no big deal there is beating Northwestern. Does everyone they do. No satisfaction there is. Care for a bread stick?"
